Stowaway cat from PH finds new home in US
LOS ANGELES - After spending about two months in a shelter, in the care of Filipino veterinarians, 'Pinay', the stowaway kitty has found a new home.
Her veterinarian said Pinay was adopted this weekend.
Earlier this year, the stray cat, believed to have been from the Philippines, was found in a freight ship that had sailed across the Pacific Ocean.
She had been undergoing rehabilitation at the Los Angeles County Animal Shelter.
Pinay is continuing to recover and grow accustomed to her new life in America.
