Sabi ng mga nagpapanukala, panahon na para magkaroon na rin ng divorce sa Pilipinas. Kalayaan daw ito mula sa mga relasyong wala nang pag-asa, at pagkakataon para sa mga bagong simula. Sa kabilang banda, sisirain daw nito ang mga pamilya at parurupukin ang institusyon ng kasal.
