Transfer of Mali the elephant sought
Mali, the 35-year-old elephant at the Manila Zoo, plays inside his enclosure on Monday. Environmentalist group PETA, which insists on the transfer of Mali to a more suitable sanctuary in Thailand, will present on Tuesday a petition, with more than 60,000 signatures from around the world, for Mali's transfer.
