Sports Unlimited was "Bora Bound" once again. This party is on its 6th year: famous celebrities, personalities, stunning models, cool people and funny people all having major fun under the sun

When you get an invitation to attend the Bora Bound party to start the peak season in Boracay, you know there is major fun. This party may was on its sixth year but every single year, it promises to be filled with fun and coolness.

We played a lot of games on the beach. The first game was where teams had to run to the banana boat to get the flag on the other station and return to the beach. It was particularly difficult because the flag was all the way in Station 1.

The strategy here is that no one should fall off the banana boat or it will delay the team's time tremendously. When all your team members get to the beach they have to complete the cheer they have made for themselves.

This race was not easy especially after a long run and a long swim.  .

In this game the Motorola team just edged out Marc and Jackie's Seair Team by two seconds.

Blindfolded games were also played during the party. A “couples” ice cream eating contest was a first. The girl has to be blindfolded while feeding the ice cream to her partner. First couple to empty their cup, wins.

Tisha and Geoff of the Seair Team put everybody to shame in this game. They were done in less than 10 seconds while the others were still going after a minute. It was impressive. Hmmm, should we assume that they feed each other a lot while blindfolded?

Another game, dodgeball, has become one of the most popular fun games on the beach during events like this. Some Caution though as it may start out fun at the beginning but for some reason, it ends up becoming a very heated and competitive battle.

Team Motorola and Team Globe competed for the championship. Team Motorola won.

Beach volleyball was also a sport the teams had to compete for. Take note that when the teams entered, they had no idea what games they will be playing and how they will be played. As a matter of fact, the rules are explained only before the games themselves. The element of surprise definitely makes all the games more fun and thrilling.

Marc's Seair Team won the volleyball event.

The event also had a game similar to the hit reality tv-series, The Amazing Race. In this version, there were 8 challenges that each team had to complete. The team who completed all the challenges in the least amount of time won.

Each of the four teams had a martial assigned to them that will hand them a paper saying which challenge they need to do next after completing the previous one.

The first challenge required taking stills and video with a 3G enabled mobile phone. While members of each team were shooting, the recorded video had to be brought to the team leader. The team leader will then submit it to their martial before they can proceed to the next challenge.

Challenge number two was more unusual. It was a “Singkamas eating contest”. What’s unusual about this was a contestant will have to dunk his or her head in a cold bucket of water before picking up the vegetable. Singkamas is good but if you have to eat it as fast as you can it gets ridiculous.

The next was the “Dig-dug challenge”. Teams were given a shovel and a barrel and the challenge is to dig up fifteen balls of the color assigned to the team and put them all in the barrel before you can proceed to next challenge.

Another was the “water balloon challenge”. Here, one member needs to pop two balloons with the Motorola and Globe logos inside by sitting on them. Of course they put the balloons in water to make them slippery and trickier to pop.

What is a Filipino Amazing Race without a “Videoke challenge”? This was a great showcase for the team member that was able to carry a tune. The hitch though was that the song was not be picked by the contestants. Participants had to sing the randomly selected song that was chosen for them.

A “snorkel challenge” was also included in the event. In this challenge the players had to find a bottle that was placed under the water. The bottles had both the Motorola and Globe logo inside it.

After the snorkel challenge the teams needed to head back to the beach and form human logos. It was a hoot to watch after bodies dropped on the sand and went all over each other. The teams were so competitive, it made it even funnier to watch them play.

Finally, the last challenge for the teams was to get their assigned flags and run all the way to Station 1. The team's time only stopped when every member of the team got to the finish line located in Pier One.

Running under the scorching heat was no joke. They surely did not cater much to the celebs when they put together this Amazing Race. They had no mercy when it came to how they chose to end this race.

After all the events, and games, and hardwork, everybody deserved a great final evening.

Rachel Lobangco showed of her new expertise. Aside from looking incredibly exotic and sultry in her bikini and fabulous tan she wowed everyone with her fire dancing skills.

We also got treated to a Folded and hung summer fashion show. There were many ‘fashionistas’ in the Boracay Bound guest list so a great show was expected on the runway.

During the award ceremonies, no one goes home empty handed. Everyone won prizes but only one team wento back to Manila and have the right to say that they were the ‘Boracay Bound 6’ champions. The team that won was Team Motorola.

Second place went to Team Schickm, Team Globe took third place and Team Seair placed fourth. And in the end though, no one really lost.
