The year 2007 is only a day away and as we welcome the New Year, let us continue our celebration here at the magical place fit for the magical season, Enchanted Kingdom.

The past year has been very good to Sports Unlimited. We’ve always said on the show that travel is happiness and this year, we had the privilege to travel to some of the most exciting countries in the world!

Our first stop was Las Vegas, USA for the much anticipated fight of the year— Manny” The Pacman” Pacquiao’s versus Erik “El Terrible” Morales.

Sports Unlimited witnessed in full account of the three heart-stopping boxing matches of these boxing champions, “The Battle” (January 21) and “The Finale” (November 18).

Manny’s fight made our trips to Las Vegas unforgettable and unbelievable but there were side trips we got to do in Vegas that left us in awe. We’ve gotten on monster rides and indulged in fun games.

We found out that Vegas is not just about slots and card tables but also a thrill-seeker’s paradise.

In addition, I personally had the chance to cover the life story of Morales that brought me to the Guadalajara Otami Mountains in Mexico. And if Mexico was not enough dose of a Latin country, I also visited the superb, sultry and sensational country of Spain.

As one of the biggest highlights of Sports Unlimited year, we were also one of the few lucky ones who got the chance to explore what’s on everybody’s dream destination list— South Africa.

And as we say goodbye to 2006 here on the show, we want to thank all of our viewers for being with us every Saturday on ABS-CBN and Sundays on ANC.

Sports Unlimited, for its second straight year, was again voted BEST SPORTS SHOW at the prestigious 2006 CMMA (Catholic Mass Media Awards), thanks to all your feedback.
