Valte, Magsaysay in Twitter fracas

MANILA, Philippines - Deputy Presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte (@Abi_Valte) and Zambales Rep. Mitos Magsaysay (@mitosmagsaysay) traded barbs on social networking site Twitter on Saturday over the performances of President Benigno Aquino III and his predecessor, now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Gloria's ranting
Do we really need to take Gloria's ranting seriously? Aside from the fact that she is so insensitive to the plight of her flood-stricken kabalens by calling for a press conference at the height of a typhoon just to take a swipe at PNoy, this woman hs the gall to position herself as God's greatest gift to the Filipino nation. And some are feeding this by trying to stir up serious conversation on the points raised by the most distrusted president in Philippine history. Well, to put things in perspective, here are a few responses. The PNoy administration, has given the Philippine economy a fighting chance to be investment grade in the near future. This happened in only 1 year and coming from an economy that was ravaged by unabated corruption. PNoy, despite the continuous PR campaign against him by Gloria and her ilk, continues to enjoy high trust ratings among the people.
Gloria Arroyo's significance is not her contribution to the Philippine economy, so let's not take the discussion there. Here significance to Philippine society, today and tomorrow, should be to serve as a lesson to future leaders, that if you lie, steal and cheat, you will get prosecuted and you will land in jail. Accomplishing this will go a long way towards bringing our nation towards real development.
leveling
it's called leveling. magsaysay cannot do better and can only criticize, pulling aquino and his government down to the level of gloria arroyo's ignominy.
PNoy might be the best thing that happened in our country, cleaning up the mess and eclipsing all previous politicians, things that magsaysay cannot accept.
miracle worker
yes, it's true then. magsaysay and inc. think PNoy a miracle worker, can move mountains and work wonders. she just did not realised the magnitude of the hurdle that PNoy has to go through just to get at the sources of the problems that magsaysay and her kinds had meticulously crafted and perpetuated over the those 9 long years of power. I suppose it's easy for magsaysay to mamatikos now. she must have missed being in power and dictating things.
valte and magsaysay's fracas
valte only came in with the aquino government. she is late arrival. magsaysay in the meantime had been there as long as gloria arroyo had been. had magsaysay and gloria arroyo applied the same passion and foresight in their jobs then as they are showing now, namamatikos masyado, we would never have this dire problems with flood, not this bad.
Shame on you GMA
Grabe naman si Gloria. May mukha pang gumastos at magpapansin sa press conference habang binabagyo mga tao. Sana pinantulong na lang niya pera niya.
Time To Act
I am not an Arroyo fan at all and I too believe that she and her people raided the coffers of the govt for their own benefits. Arroyo is corrrupt in the strictest sense of the word. But at the same time, I agree with Mitos M just on this: Pnoy and the current admin need to focus more on working to fix the issues facing the country and its citizen instead of excusing themselves by using the corruption of the past admin. Sure let's invstigate/prosecute but I just think sometimes they focus on this too much that it might eventually lead to the detriment of what needs to be really accomplished.
Focus or not focus
Papano ka naman maka focus kong may mga distruction sa paligid mo. Aber ikaw mag focus ka, subukan mo. Dapat sabihin mo ay labanan ang mga distructive na mga tao, especially yong mga taong puro negative/Pasikat... Bakit yong ibang opposition diyan keep mum lang. Itong Mitos sobra ang dada plus pa kay Lagman. Hay nako iwan ko lang kong maka focus ka sa mga taong ito.
Focus on the issue? What?
Papano ka naman maka focus kong may mga distruction sa paligid mo. Aber ikaw mag focus ka, subukan mo. Dapat sabihin mo ay labanan ang mga distructive na mga tao, especially yong mga taong puro negative/Pasikat... Bakit yong ibang opposition diyan keep mum lang. Itong Mitos sobra ang dada plus pa kay Lagman. Hay nako! Iwan ko lang kong maka focus ka sa mga taong ito.
