MANILA, Philippines - Ramgen Revilla topped web searches last week after a sex video of the slain actor with his girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, was leaked online, Google Philippines said Tuesday.

In a statement, the local unit of the Internet search engine giant said Revilla was the top newsmaker from December 30 to January 5. Manahan's lawyer has alleged that members of Revilla's family, who were tagged as masterminds in the actor's murder, released the sex video.

Genelyn Magsaysay, Revilla's mother, has denied that their family uploaded the video on the Internet.

Revilla was murdered by a masked attacker inside the Magsaysay home in Parañaque last October 28. Manahan was shot in the face during the attack but survived the incident.

Manahan has linked some of Revilla's siblings, including younger sister Ramona and brother Ramon Jacinto, to the killing. Ramona fled the country last year after revealing that she had lied to the police about being kidnapped immediately after Ramgen's murder.

Meanwhile, other top newsmakers last week include Liv Espino, wife of deceased actor Tyron Perez; Manahan, Jinkee Pacquiao, Japanese adult video star Maria Ozawa and national hero Jose Rizal, Google Philippines said.
