Bea Rose: Kill them with kindness
MANILA – Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago has been posting cryptic messages following her father’s statements about her early this month.
Paul Valencia Santiago, a councilor of Mandaon, Masbate, wrote a lengthy Facebook post last January 8, insisting that he never abandoned Bea Rose when she was little.
Aside from calling his daughter’s allegations of abandonment as a “cheap gimmick,” Santiago also said Bea Rose “turned cold” after he failed to give her P300,000 for “facial enhancements.”
Shortly after reports of her father’s statement came out, Bea Rose has refused to comment on the issue. Netizens, however, have noticed her cryptic posts on her Instagram page.
One of the posts is an image that showed the text, “There are some things that money can’t buy… like manners, morals and integrity.”
Another read: “We see what we want.” The image had the caption: “If you don’t know the truth then leave it. #killthemwithkindness #goodmorning.”
Bea Rose’s third cryptic post showed part of a page from a book. It had the caption: “He helped me before He will help me forever.”
Reacting to her feud with her father, a number of Instagram users expressed their support for Bea Rose.
“I believe you, queen,” one of them said.
“Just always remember only God can judge you. God bless,” another added.
Some netizens, however, slammed the beauty queen for allegedly treating her father badly.
“I don’t like what you are doing to your father Bea… you don’t deserve to have the crown,” one user wrote.
“Oh well! I wasn’t surprised with her dad’s allegations. This woman is so nice in front of the camera but she’s a different person behind,” another quipped.
Bea Rose’s father has since deleted his post about the beauty queen on his Facebook page.
