UPCAT, Paolo Hubalde, top Google PH search on Jan. 7-13
MANILA, Philippines - When "Showtime" host Vice Ganda expressed admiration for Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Paolo Hubalde, Filipinos lost no time in searching the Internet for information about the cager.
Vice Ganda made the comment after Hubalde guested on "Showtime" as a judge.
As a result, Hubalde topped the list of fastest rising newsmakers for January 7-13 as tallied by Google Zeitgeist.
Second on the list of fastest rising newsmakers last week is Teresa Fidalgo, a car accident victim in Portugal whose video was uploaded on YouTube. The video showed her ghost.
And Baywalk Bodies dancer Rejoice Rivera, who was found dead along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) with a bullet wound in the head, occupied the third spot.
