Tiger Woods wife drops divorce plans--reports
MANILA, Philippines - Elin Nordegren, the Swedish wife of pro golfer Tiger Woods, is now said to be trying to save her marriage after the high-profile pair were reported to be on the verge of divorce.
PEOPLE.com reported on Thursday that Nordegren, 30, does not want to raise their 2 young children without a father.
Nordegren gave birth to 2-year-old Sam Alexis in 2007 and 11-month-old Charlie Axel in 2009.
Last year, Nordegren was contemplating divorce after a tabloid exposed her husband's alleged marital affairs with a cocktail waitress and a club promoter.
Over 20 women have since come forward with claims that they had flings with the famous golfer.
Woods admitted his infidelities in a public statement and later took an indefinite leave from golf.
The Woods couple spent the holidays apart.
However, PEOPLE's source reported that Nordegren visited Woods at a sex addiction clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississipi.
US Celebrity website Radaronline reported that Nordegren was "happy when she came home" and that "things went well" at the clinic.
The former swimwear model and nanny flew back to Florida by private jet.
British news website The Daily Telegraph also reported that Nordegren was pleased with Woods's efforts to fix his marital and professional problems.
According to the report, Woods is said to have lost around $970,000 a day since news of his affairs broke. The golfer lost out on sponsorships, potential tournament winnings and appearance pay.
no chance at all.
its an insult to the wife of woods of having afair to another women. even its not being said but this kind of situation show like woods is not satisfied on his sex life with his wife. I'd rather raise my children alone than living with my husband who is such a cheater!
second chance
everybody deserves a second chance. i guess this is a good news and that sooner or later everything will be alright.
