This year’s Art Fair Philippines will be held from February 7 to 10 at the sixth level of The Link carpark building in the redeveloped Ayala Center. Here, 24 galleries and art groups will present a series of curated shows.

CANVAS, for instance, will work with six artists, including Elmer Borlongan, Emmanuel Garibay and Don Salubayba, on the theme “Looking for Juan in Basketball,” while Tin-Aw Gallery will hold a solo show by Mark Justiniani.

Other major art galleries featured in the event are Silverlens, The Drawing Room, Galleria Duemila, Blanc, Art Informal, Manila Contemporary, Finale Art Gallery, West Gallery, MO Space and Boston Gallery, among others.

There will also be a specially commissioned sculpture called “Asphalt” by renowned kinetic sculpture Gabriel Barredo, and a reception desk made of iconic San Miguel Beer crates by artist Norberto “Peewee” Roldan Jr.

On top of these are art installations in various parts of Makati, including unexpected commercial and financial establishments.
