Just in time for Valentine's Day, Patrick Opias used the popular event to propose to girlfriend Caleen Chanyungco.
According to Chanyungco, they were just supposed to attend the aviation festival.
But she was surprised when she saw her boyfriend, together with her parents and family members, going out of a plane.
"Kinabahan na ko kasi ang daming tao tapos ang daming camera so yun na na-tense na ko," she said.
Chanyungco, nonetheless, said yes to Opias.
Opias said of his girlfriend: "She's my travel buddy so I get to share a lot of things with her."

Sunday was the last day of the aviation festival, which drew thousands of visitors to the former American air base to witness colorful balloons in various shapes -- including a three-layer cake, a giant sunflower and a panda.
Helicopters and fighter planes from the Armed Forces of the Philippines also had an aerial exhibition.
Organizers expected 100,000 visitors to witness the four-day event, which started on Thursday.
The event even attracted foreign visitors.
"It's my first time here and it's so good, I love it," said Leo de Summer from Belgium.
"I think my daughter enjoyed it a lot," added Jing Jing Xie from China. -- Reports from Jenny Reyes and Trisha Mostoles, ABS-CBN News
