Two marriage proposals and dancing female cadets of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). These are some of the highlights on the third day of the 14th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.

The four-day event, which ran from February 12 to February 15, was held in Clark Field in Pampanga province.

Jody Pineda, one of the organizers of the event, said an estimated 60,000 to 100,000 people came to watch the annual event. She said some of these visitors were students.

Organizers have also invited foreign groups to join the festival, according to Pineda.

Visitors from various parts of the country were not only treated to the much-anticipated hot air balloon flight. They were also treated to activities such as skydiving exhibition, paragliding, car drifting and PAF all female silent drill.

On February 14, two guys also took advantage of the occasion to publicly propose to their girlfriends. Another good surprise was when PAF female cadets unexpectedly danced after a straight body and well-coordinated silent drill.

Pineda said the festival was a good opportunity for families and barkadas alike to spend time together. All one had to do was to take that road trip to Pampanga and pay the P100 entrance fee. And the trip was worth it.
