Airport officials witness the inaugural opening on March 1, 2010 of the infant feeding station at NAIA terminal 1.

MANILA, Philippines - Good news for babies and their mommies: terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) now has its very own infant feeding station.

The 4 x 4 area provides a convenient spot for babies to have their much-needed milk and rest while waiting for their flights. It is located at the departure area of the NAIA terminal 1, and is open for 24 hours.

According to airport general manager Alfonso Cusi, the feeding station was opened in compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.

More stations are set to be opened in NAIA terminals 2 and 3 as well as in the Manila domestic terminal.

These terminals are currently operated by the Manila International Airport Authority, which celebrated its 28th anniversary on Monday.
