CCP goes Russian this March
MANILA, Philippines - Russian films will be shown this month at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) as the country marks its 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation.
The film festival will begin on March 16 with the special invitational screening of Ward No. 6, Russia's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Academy Awards.
Other films included in the event are Vanished Empire, The Star, Mirror, and Agony. All films are produced by Mosfilm Studios, Russia's biggest filmmaker.
Regular film screenings will be held at the CCP dream theater on March 17 to 20 free of charge. The Russian Film Festival will also be brought to Cebu at a later date.
