Super Junior, 2PM to 'hang out' with fans online
MANILA, Philippines – Super Junior and 2PM, two of South Korea’s most popular boy bands, are set to “hang out” with fans all over the world via the social networking site Google+.
The two groups will be participating in separate public video chat “hangouts” at Google’s social network, answering handpicked questions from fans.
Super Junior is scheduled on March 10, while 2PM will interact with fans on March 13.
The event is part of the “A-Pop Star Week” of Google+, which will also feature other Asian artists such as K-Pop group Shinee (March 8), American-born singer-songwriter Wang Lee Hom of China (March 9), Japanese model and recording artist Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (March 11), Japanese pop-rock band flumpool (March 12) and Taiwanese alternative rock band Mayday.
Internet users may tune in to the live “hangouts” from YouTube’s “A-Pop Channel,” which also hosts live performances and Top 20 videos from Asian pop artists.
