MANILA, Philippines – The very first Filipina to become an iconic Playboy “bunny” graces the cover of the local edition of the popular men’s magazine this month.

Arriane, dubbed as the first Filipina Playboy bunny, wears nothing but gold bunny ears and a pair of matching underwear in the March 2013 issue of Playboy Philippines, which will be available in stores this weekend.

She was shot against a black background, with her hair and hands covering her breasts.

“As we celebrate her 50th issue, we are proud to bring you a real icon of our most loved brand. The real-life Playboy bunny, also the first Filipina, Arriane from the Playboy Club is this month’s golden girl!” Playboy Philippines said on its Facebook page.

A Playboy Bunny is a waitress at the Playboy Club, a chain of nightclubs and resorts owned by Playboy Enterprises.

Several stars have made the news for their controversial covers on Playboy Philippines, among them singers Nina and Mocha and actresses LJ Reyes, Iwa Moto, Valerie Concepcion and Wilma Doesnt.
