MANILA, Philippines - Eleven of the Philippines' richest men joined Forbes magazine's 2013 list of the world's billionaires. Mall magnate Henry Sy, Sr. is the richest in the country with an estimated $13.2 billion net worth.

Included in the Philippines' billionaires' club are familiar names such as Lucio Tan, Enrique Razon Jr., Andrew Tan, David Consunji, George Ty, Robert Coyuito Jr. and Andrew Gotianun, who have made their billions in a wide range of businesses, such as property, tobacco, ports, construction, power, banking and airlines.

Lucio and Susan Co, founders of supermarket chain Puregold,  as well as Jollibee founder Tony Tan Caktiong also made the list of the world's billionaires. Former trade minister and controversial businessman Roberto Ongpin was also in the list with a net worth of $1.2 billion.
