Need prepaid credit? Go to a fishball vendor
MANILA, Philippines - Prepaid credit can now be bought over the counter at your favorite fastfood chain, at jeepneys and buses, even from the fishball vendor who sells you merienda every day.
Globe Telecom Inc. recently launched the first ever P10 "Tingi" load to mark the start of the summer season. Inspired by the word "tingi" (which means repackaged small retail items), the new offering is aimed to help users of Globe, Globe Tattoo and Touch Mobile stay connected to their friends and family.
"Summer is a busy time for everyone, and with so many exciting things going on, who wants to wait for prepaid load? Now you can get loaded in a flash just about anywhere," Globe marketing chief Menchi Orlina said in a statement.
"Our P10 Tingi load gives you an affordable, easily available option, so you can load up when you board the bus to the mall, or when you buy your snack from the corner Jolly Jeep," she added.
Sold in easy-to-use scratch cards, Globe's Tingi load is available on buses, jeepneys and FXs, and also from street vendors, train stations, and selected restaurants.
Just scratch off the protective film and use your mobile phone to key in the PIN, and you'll be all set.
