MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom Inc. is now offering its newest email service for mobile phones -- aptly called Unlimail -- for free until the end of the month.

The new service allows Globe subscribers to send and receive emails from their mobile phones -- even download and view attachments.

With the application, users can also hook up with their current web-based inboxes like Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live, or Microsoft Outlook.

"We are a brand that enables young people to express who they are and enjoy every facet of their digital lifestyle," Menchi Orlina, Globe's chief marketing officer, said in a statement released Tuesday.

To download the Unlimail application for free, users need to type in UNLIMAIL and send it to 8888. They can also log on to Globe's website for more information.
