MANILA – Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler of Venezuela is set to visit the Philippines to grace this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

According to a statement posted on the Binibining Pilipinas website, Isler will sit as one of the judges in the pageant and will help crown this year’s winners.

Forty women will vie for the Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Tourism, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational and Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental titles in the coronation night to be held on March 30 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Binibining Pilipinas had a winning streak last year with the victories of Bea Rose Santiago (Miss International 2013) and Johanna Datul (Miss Supranational 2013). Ariella Arida finished third runner-up in last year’s Miss Universe pageant, while Cindy Miranda made it to the Top 10 of Miss Tourism Queen International.

Meanwhile, Isler will also visit areas affected by super typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) and will help in relief and rebuilding efforts through the Miss Universe fund.

She will be joined by Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart.
