Rolls-Royce debuts at PH motor show with Wraith
MANILA - Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled its latest luxury car at the 2014 Manila International Auto Show on Thursday, which also marked the company's first official attendance at the annual motoring event.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presented for the first time Wraith, a two-door fastback that has been dubbed the brand's most powerful and dynamic model.
Willy Tee Ten, president of Rolls-Royce Motors Cars Manila, said they are excited to present Wraith to the local market, following the inauguration of the first Rolls-Royce dealership in the Philippines.
“We are very excited to bring Wraith to the Philippines. Our official presence at the Manila International Auto Show underlines our commitment to bring more awareness of the brand’s benchmark excellence to this market,” he said.
Wraith is equipped with a V12 engine matched with an 8-speed automatic ZF transmission. Its deeply recessed grille is a standout, partnered with its wide rear and two-tone color.
The interior design is proof of why Rolls-Royce is one of the super-luxury automobile brands. Seats are clothed with high-grade leather, with doors having expanses of Canadel panelling.
Paul Harris, the company's regional director for Asia Pacific, said the Wraith truly reflects what the brand stands for.
“We present Wraith as the Ultimate Gran Turismo for the Philippines. This is a true, four-seater super-luxury motor car that exhibits both the most contemporary and dynamic aspects of the brand, without sacrificing Rolls-Royce’s trademark refinement and pinnacle craftsmanship,” he said.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, known for its super-luxury motor cars, originated from Goodwood, England where units are hand-built by master craftsmen.
