haha! I wish I could be a participant in that contest. Its not easy for everyone to eat every thing. If you are suffering from the same condition and your mind does not allow you to eat everything than its better to undergo with Bulimia treatment. This will make you confident that what you have to eat or not.

What's this summer's hottest fiesta? None other than the "Magayon Festival 2009" held in Albay province in the Bicol region, which spiced things up with unique contests and activities.
True to its reputation as the home of hot and spicy delicacies, the festival featured a chili-eating contest called "Hot-taw sa Magayon" where each participant was required to eat two bowls of "Bicol express" loaded with hot chilis.
Both men and women from all over the region joined the contest, but only one man was hailed the "Sili King of Albay" after downing both bowls a few minutes ahead of the rest.
The region is famously known for its spicy "Bicol Express", a dish made of a melange of "siling labuyo" (a long chili), coconut milk, pork, shrimp paste, and seasonings like garlic and onions.
Aside from paying homage to their hot chili dish, the fiesta also featured a contest creatively called "Kudkod Piga, Tulo Gata" (Grate, Squeeze, Drip "Gata") designed to highlight the region's stock of "gata" or coconut milk.
Even U.S. Army soldiers participating in the U.S.-RP Balikatan Exercises formed a team with their Filipino counterparts and joined in on the festivities. They were spotted joining the "Kudkod" contest where each team was required to grate coconuts on a homemade "kudkuran" or grater, then squeeze out as much juice from the coconut shavings within 100 seconds.
"It was really fun, it's a good culture. It was fun throwing the balloons and all kinds of stuff. But [the Kudkod contest] was really hard," said one U.S. soldier.
However, it was the team from Legazpi Resettlement area who proved their coconut-milk-making prowess, producing almost a whole pitcher of coconut milk in less than two minutes and winning a cash prize.
Among the many colorfully designed and ornamented "kudkuran" (homemade graters made from sharpened wood), only one was awarded the "most unique."
The Magayon (which locally means "beautiful") festival commemorates the legend of Mayon Volcano, known all over the world for its perfect cone shape. Aside from contests, the fiesta also featured a street dancing competition, concerts, float competitions, beauty pageants, fireworks displays, and the "Malasagui Race."
