MANILA, Philippines - South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) will commence its Manila-Cebu flights on July 1, 2011, and its Manila-Davao flights on July 2 as part of its partnership with Tiger Airways.

The company said there will be up to 10 daily flights to and from Cebu, and up to 6 daily flights to and from Davao, from its base at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) domestic terminal.

To mark the event, SEAIR is offering special starting fare offers.

One-way tickets to/from Cebu may be had for as low as P499 for travel on July 1 to October 29, 2011.

On the other hand, one-way tickets to/from Davao can go as low as P999 for travel on July 2 to October 29, 2011.

The company said passengers can buy tickets for these offers online at FlySeair.com and tigerairways.com, or by calling the hotline (632) 849-0100.

Cebu, dubbed the Queen City of the South, is known for the Magellan's Cross Shrine and the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño where the Santo Niño de Cebu, the oldest Catholic relic in the country, can be found.

The province is also popular for its rich marine life at scuba diving spots in Moalbal, Malapascua, and Pescador Island.

It is also a ferry ride away from Bohol and Negros, where dive safaris Cabilao and Apo Island can be found.

Davao, on the other hand, is the major tourist gateway in Mindanao. It boasts of beach and mountain resorts such as Pearl Farm in the island of Samal. Mt. Apo, the country's tallest mountain, is just 40 km northeast of Davao.

“SEAIR’s great value fares and this expanded network will offer travellers even more value-for-money destinations to choose from, together with worry-free bookings. The introduction of high frequency domestic jet routes will also drive the creation of new jobs as well as boost tourism across the Philippines,” SEAIR President and CEO Avelino Zapanta said.

SEAIR: no to false advertising

Hi, luisafidela. The special rate of Cebu flights at 499 PHP was an introductory promo and applies to a limited number of seats. Once those seats are taken, the other fares will automatically be indicated on the site. We hope this clarifies the matter. Thank you.

seair promo rate to cebu

this is a foul misreprensentation.i tried to book a manila-cebu flight for july but the seair rate ranges from P699+ to P900+, not P499+ as you reported. abs-cbn should not let itself be used in false advertising.
