MANILA, Philippines - Lakas Kampi-CMD standard bearer Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro Jr. became the most talked-about personality on Twitter on Tuesday, following his defeat from the May 10 polls.

The hashtag "Gibo" was first on Twitter trending topics as of 4:42 p.m., beating 16-year-old Canadian pop Singer Justin Bieber, who moved to the 3rd spot.

#Halalan, the name of ABS-CBN's coverage of the country's first automated elections, stayed at the number 10 spot as of 4:42 p.m.

A few hours ago, Teodoro admitted losing to his cousin, Liberal Party standard bearer Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, in the presidential race. He congratulated Aquino for a hard-fought victory and said the new president should consider instituting constitutional reforms during his term.

"I am very happy insofar as the result of the race is considered," he said in a press conference.

Partial results from the Commission on Elections showed Teodoro placing fourth in the race with 3,448,013 votes. Aquino, meanwhile, has 12,969,559 votes.

Teodoro is the 4th presidential bet to concede in the race, after Manuel "Manny" Villar, Richard "Dick" Gordon and JC delos Reyes.
