The museum will also feature the book collection and achievements of the late Larry J. Cruz, son of Abe and founder of the LJC Group of Restaurants. Larry was also a newspaperman and broadcast journalist, press undersecretary, head of the then Bureau of National and Foreign Information, and publisher of Metro Magazine.

At the opening of the museum, two high school students from Magalang will be awarded scholarships by the E. Aguilar Cruz Foundation to a Hotel and Restaurant Management course at the Pampanga Agricultural College.

The foundation is awarding the scholarships with the view of honing the innate talent of the youth of Magalang. It is also the foundation’s way of giving back to the community.
