MANILA, Philippines - More than a hundred designers are set to present their Holiday 2010 collections in this year's Philippine Fashion Week.

The event will be held at the SMX Convention Center from May 26 to May 30. Participants of the weeklong fashion event include Frederick Peralta, Ronaldo Arnaldo, Pepsi Herrera, Veejay Floresca, and Boying Eustaquio, among others.

Aside from seasoned and up-and-coming designers, students from School of Fashion and the Arts will also take part in the Philippine Fashion Week, as well as 6 clothing brands: SM Department Store, Jag, Penshoppe, Human, Kashieca and Bench.

The Philippine Fashion Week, held twice a year, aims to highlight the creations of veteran designers and provide opportunities for the younger ones to showcase their talent. It also sets the tone for the local fashion market.
