Fashion designer Paul Herrera dies
MANILA – The country's fashion industry is now mourning the death of popular fashion and accessories designer Paul Herrera, who is behind the House of Herrera, along with his brother John.
In his personal Facebook account, John confirmed that Paul had already passed away on Sunday morning after having a cardiac arrest due to meningitis.
Meanwhile, Paul’s friends within showbiz and the fashion industry took to social networking sites to express their grief over his passing.

Among the celebrities previously dressed by Paul were Iza Calzado and G Tongi, who even posted a picture of Paul’s creation in her Instagram account.
“Paul made this for me and my heart is breaking now that he is gone. RIP @paultherrera you were a beautiful person and friend!!! We will miss you so much!!!!” she said.
According to John’s most recent Facebook post, Paul’s memorial service will be at Chapel 2, Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina. Public viewing will be open at 7 p.m. Monday.
