MANILA - Mexican superstar Thalia took to social media to express her happiness as the hosts of the ABS-CBN morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" showed their support for an anti-bullying campaign in her country.

On Instagram, the "Marimar" star posted photos of "UKG" hosts Anthony Taberna, Amy Perez, Ariel Ureta and Jorge Cariño holding up sheets of paper that read "El bullying no es un juego," which means "bullying is not a game."

"Thanks for your support!" Thalia wrote.

According to a report on Al Jazeera, the anti-bullying campaign in Mexico is spearheaded by actress Yolanda Andrade and Enough Mexico, an initiative supported by the National Crime Prevention Centre.

The campaign got a boost after the death of a 12-year-old boy who was reportedly thrown into a wall by classmates who bullied him in school.

Aside from Thalia and the "UKG" hosts, other celebrities who have thrown their support for the campaign include Eva Longoria and Ricky Martin, among others.
