MANILA, Philippines – Filipino viral marketing group GRNMNGO has created a stop-motion video simulating the highly anticipated fight between Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Derek Wanner of GRNMNGO said the video was created using two custom made action figures and by piecing together 2,500 pictures.

“It was a real labor of love, it was something we have been meaning to do for quite some time now,” he told ANC on Friday.

Wanner gave credit to the stop motion artist who spent months “manipulating the figurines millimeter by millimeter.”

“It’s quite staggering,” Wanner said.

The 2-and-a-half minute long video, posted a week ago, already had more than 75,000 hits on Friday.

Wanner said the video was also re-uploaded at worldstarhiphop.com without permission, where it has racked up about 120,000 views within 24 hours.

“Somehow, that’s how you know you’ve made it when people start jacking your work, but I guess that’s OK,” he said.
