American restaurant Village Tavern recently added new items to its menu.

The 18 dishes were prepared by Village Tavern’s international corporate chef Grace Viado, Bistro Group’s corporate chef Josh Boutwood, and new Bistro R&D chef Jason Stacy.

These include Three-Cheese Elote, Cowboy Chips, Pimiento Cheese Fondido, Cobb Salad, VT Market Salad, Cheese Smoked Bacon Flatbread, Bacon and Chicken Pesto Pizza, Chorizo Bolognese, Pappardelle al Vongole, French Cut Pork Chop, Honey Mustard Pork & Ribs, Bacon-wrapped Salmon, Gruyere Cheese Mustard Sauce and Buttered Seared Halibut, 14-ounce T-Bone, Truffle Burger, Foie Gras Burger, Pimiento Cheese BLT and Macadamia Chocolate Fudge.

Village Tavern is located at Bonifacio High Street Central in Taguig City.

Italianni’s offers take-away platters

Italian-American restaurant Italianni’s is now offering take-away platters, which are ideal for office meetings and impromptu parties and celebrations.

Customers can choose platters that are good for six to eight people. Italianni’s has a selection of appetizers, salads, pasta and main course.

The take away platters are packed in a carry-on bag that can be reused, and include disposable utensils.

To order, customers can visit any Italianni’s branch or order via Quick Delivery or City delivery.

Lifestyle coffee breaks at Marriott

Marriott Hotel Manila has launched four new thematic coffee breaks to pull event planners and clients away from formal business routines.

Called Marriott Lifestyle Coffee Breaks, these can be set up within the hotel’s different spaces – from the Manila ballroom and The Garden Rooms to The Den and The Hub.

The four themes include California Fit (a healthy spread of varieties from granola bars to fruit cups and veggie wraps), China Town (a myriad of Chinese delicacies such as dim sum, and roast pork belly), Deli Break (with freshly tossed salads, sandwiches and batches of warm chocolate crinkles), and Metro Pinoy (with traditional rice cakes, local fruits and well-known street food such as fish balls and chicharon).

All-you-can-eat promo at Shang Palace

Makati Shangri-La’s Chinese restaurant, Shang Palace, is hosting a Grand A La Carte rush from June 28 to 30 where customers can get vouchers for P1,288 net.

The vouchers let guests take part in an all-you-can-eat promotion at Shang Palace from July 1 to August 31. Some of the items that can be ordered during the promo include Roasted Duck, Crispy Prawn with Mayonnaise and Wok-fried Diced Beef with Asparagus in Black Pepper Sauce, among others.

Vouchers for kids 12 years old and below will be sold for P688 net. Terms and conditions apply.
