MANILA, Philippines - June 30 was a day not just of hope, but of glamour as celebrities and special guests paraded in their finest Filipiniana attire at the inauguration of President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III and Vice President Jejomar Binay at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.

It seemed like a red carpet event as showbiz personalities dropped by Manila Hotel first before proceeding to Quirino Grandstand.

Among those spotted was actress Gretchen Barretto who wore an Inno Sotto gown.

Actress, TV host and now Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez was lovely in a pink terno, "an old Joe Salazar," she said.

 Comediennes Ai Ai delas Alas and Pokwang arrived together wearing ternos.

Ai Ai wore a one-shoulder terno with ruffles, while Pokwang was in a white terno with yellow band accentuating her waist.
