Kitkat 'feels better' after collapsing in US

CALIFORNIA - Actress-comedienne Kitkat is now in stable condition after being rushed to a hospital in the United States over the weekend due to dehydration.
In a text message sent to abs-cbnNEWS.com, Kitkat said she was taking a shower inside her hotel room when she fainted. She said her friend, actress Melissa Ricks, found her lying naked in the bathtub and immediately called for help.
"It was fortunate that Melissa found me inside the bath tub. She ran outside the hotel room and asked for help. They called 911 and I was immediately brought to the hospital," Kitkat said.
Doctors at the hospital said the comedienne collapsed from stress and dehydration.
"In the hospital they had to give me intravenous fluid for rehydration. I can't remember what happened. I woke up and found out that I was already in the hospital. Until now, I don't know who clothed me," Kitkat said.
Ever the professional, Kitkat still performed on the "Star Magic: The World Concert Tour" held in Ontario in California last June 27, barely a few days after she was hospitalized.
Kitkat said that she is now doing better but decided to stay in US for a couple of days to rest.
She is currently busy with new projects, like ABS-CBN's television show "Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo's: Nasaan Ka Maruja?", while she continues her stand-up comedy act in Metro Manila bars.
Aside from TV and comedy bar shows, Kitkat is also excited about her upcoming shows in Alaska come September.
