PAMPANGA - Children in Clark, Pampanga have found a more thrilling mall experience with a new batch of robotic amusements.

SM City Clark mall-goers were delighted upon seeing these "robot dolls" that could take small children on a spin.

The smart machines are made up of large dolls each pulling a small plastic rickshaw, which can carry small children.

The rickshaw-pulling robots were imported from Japan and run entirely on batteries. Another batch of robotic dolls will also be available for use at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The robot's operators charge P 30 for a three-minute ride on a single carriage, and P60 for a three-minute ride on a double carriage.

A larger rickshaw robot was invented by a Japanese farmer named Wu Yulu. However, Wu's robot invention was not designed for amusement, but to help him plow his fields. Report from Gracie Rutao, ABS-CBN Pampanga.
