Edsa Shangri-La spices up your weekend
MANILA - Weekends will never be the same again as EDSA Shangri-La's HEAT restaurant promises a grand feast from Fridays to Sundays this month.
On Friday, they have a "Seafood Symphony" where guests can munch on a concerto of lobsters, oysters, prawns and crabs. International delicacies, crisp salads, and sweet desserts finish off the ensemble.
Every Saturday, the restaurant heats things up with "Barbecue Night" - a feast of freshly grilled lamb kebabs, surf and turf skewers, marinated pork steaks, and tangu chicken, along with a range of salads, side dishes, and desserts.
On Sunday, they serve brunch with free-flowing iced tea, fruit juices, tea and coffee.
As their tagline goes, "The flame keeps going 'till your cravings end!" All the buffet promos are all priced at P1,450 and above.
HEAT restaurant is one of the hotel's many upscale dining hotspots. HEAT has 20 food stations where skilled chefs prepare instant international dishes like Chinese barbecues, grilled Indian food, salads, tapas dishes, sushi, fresh pastas, and hot oven-baked pizzas, plus a variety of Asian noodles.
The restaurant also serves fresh oven-baked pizza at the Italian station daily, and even sports a roasting pit for favorite Filipino delicacies like "lechon" or roast pork.
