MANILA - From public events to routine trips to the bookstore, in her roles as president and private citizen, former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino is always described by onlookers as dignified, gracious, and kind.

Farewell
She will be missed. Now a big hole exists or the people to fill. Even in death, she was able to make an impact and spur the hearts and light the fire once again. May this final act of sacrifice destroy the apathy of the Filipinos and sow dread and fear to those who continue to do wrong in the country. May this event stoke the embers of change that we need to do for a better Philippines. Rest well Madame President. We will continue the fight for you.
