Up close with Ely Buendia for PETA concert
MANILA -- Fans of Ely Buendia will have a chance to get "up close and personal" with the OPM icon, as he is holding an "intimate" concert at a 400-seater black box theater in September.
The former Eraserheads frontman will stage a one-night show on September 20 at the Philippine Educational Theater Association's (PETA) Theater Center in Quezon City.
Titled "Ely Buendia Sings for PETA," the concert will feature the 42-year-old singer performing his biggest hits as the frontman of Eraserheads, Pupil and The Oktaves.
The proceeds of the event will go to the organization's endowment fund, which is "meant to ensure the sustainability of PETA which will allow them to continue their cultural work, and developing future generations of artists."
Ticket prices are at P1,000, P2,000, P2,500 and P5,000.
