Ces Drilon ignores 'gamu-gamo' during live report
MANILA – Netizens lauded award-winning broadcast journalist Ces Drilon after she managed not to mind small moths or gamu-gamo while doing a live report for “TV Patrol” from Naga City on Tuesday night.
Drilon was in Naga City to cover the state funeral of the late Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo.
Some crew members who were trying to shoo the moths away from Drilon’s shoulders were caught on camera while she was delivering her spiels.
Drilon remained composed and continued with her spiels despite the disruption.
“TV Patrol” anchor Noli de Castro even cracked a joke about what happened.
According to Twitter user @chicprotagonist, it’s a good thing that Drilon was the “not the squeamish type.”
Some Twitter users, meantime, praised Drilon for being able to continue with her report.
“Yeah... We giggled through your segment... You looked cute though... “ added @jab_GeekPinoy.
As for @rocky05, he said: “Natawa naman aq 2loy parin pag ne2ws ni Ms. @cesdrilon kahit may gamo2x dumapo sakanya salamat sa mga pumunas sa damit nia #TVPatrol25”
Twitter user Maricris Sabularse said she admires Drilon and even thanked the veteran journalist for coming to Naga City.
“@cesdrilon k lang poh yan hehe part na poh yan ng pagba2lita poh ang ganda nyo poh sa personal salamat sa pagpunta d2 sa naga,” she said.
