Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' wedding was an "intimate, personalized party."
The couple tied the knot on Sunday, September 9, in Charleston, South Carolina because it is one of Reynolds' favorite towns and the couple worked with Martha Stewart Weddings to create their perfect day which
included everything from a "heartfelt ceremony to [a] fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception".
According to Marthastewartweddings.com: "This past weekend, the Martha Stewart Weddings team was delighted and honored to be part of the wedding of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively! Together with the couple and Tara Guerard of Soiree in Charleston, we worked to bring their vision to life.
"Ryan and Blake opted for an intimate, personalized party, gathering their immediate and extended family at a rustic barn in South Carolina. Ryan, who has been a long-time fan of Charleston, chose to mark this special occasion in one of his favorite towns.
"From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration. "
Lively and her bridesmaids chose Marchesa gowns with Christian Louboutin shoes while Reynolds and his groomsmen wore Burberry.
The website added: "The bride and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle in custom Marchesa gowns designed by Blake's friends, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, with shoes created for the celebration by Christian Louboutin. The groom and groomsmen wore specially made Burberry suits with custom leather suspenders designed by the groom's friend, Christopher Bailey. The couple exchanged unique wedding rings by Lorraine Schwartz."
The wedding will feature in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine.

Meanwhile, Penn Badgley “couldn’t be happier” for his ex Lively following her marriage to Reynolds.
The 25-year-old actor – who dated the blonde beauty for three years until 2010 – is delighted she has wed the "Green Lantern" star, who was previously married to Scarlett Johansson, and thinks they are a great couple.
He told People.com: “I actually didn’t know until last night, but I think it’s fantastic. I couldn’t be happier for her.
“They’re pretty spot on. I’m so happy for her. I think it’s everything that it should be.”
Lively and Reynolds met on the set of "Green Lantern" and have been dating since last year, and wed in an intimate ceremony at the Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina last Sunday.
Florence Welch provided the entertainment at their nuptials, singing three songs at the reception.
Speaking recently, Lively revealed her ideal man had to be “a lot of fun” and “not take himself too seriously.
She said: "When I look for a partner there has to be a strong connection. He needs to be my best friend, whether he's macho or sensitive - it doesn't matter. He also has to make me laugh. I enjoy someone who's a lot of fun to be with.
"He also needs to be kind, patient, caring and not take himself too seriously. And of course, he needs to appreciate my cooking! I'm very domestic." -- Bang Showbiz
