MANILA, Philippines - Unlike most cover girls, "Walang Hanggan" Melissa Ricks proudly admitted that her photos on the newest issue of men's magazine FHM Philippines were edited by software program Adobe Photoshop.

But she was quick to add that the photos still show her real body.

"My pictures were photoshopped because they were enhanced," Ricks told ABS-CBNnews.com on Thursday during a press conference for the magazine's September 2012 issue.

"Aminin naman natin na in the Philippines at kahit anong bansa, ang mga pictures po ay ini-edit natin 'yan para ma-enhance, para mapaganda. It's photoshopped pero I'm very happy with FHM because yung pagka-photoshop nila, it's still me in the picture. Konting bawas lang dito, konting enhancement, pero I worked reallly hard, I'm very proud of the cover.

"They could have made me look like a supermodel but they didn't... kung magkikita niyo po ang layout, sa loob, may laman pa rin ako, may pata pa rin ako, at wala po akong abs. In-enhance lang nila kung ano ang mayroon po ako," she added.

FHM's September 2012 issue showed Ricks wearing skimpy swimsuits and underwear matched with coverups such as blazers and shimmery jackets.

Ricks said she followed a strict diet for two months since she could not go to the gym due to her busy schedule on ABS-CBN's top-rating series "Walang Hanggan."

"Ako, I didn't have the time to go to the gym, but I just do a strict diet and more water kasi hindi ako pala-inom ng tubig. So 'yun po, more water and strict diet for two months," she said.

After her sexy photoshoot for a men's magazine, Ricks said she is open to doing more mature roles.
