'Road to Amped' game fest goes cross-country

A series of online game tournaments will be held in different regions as Amped, the principal online game provider of ABS-CBN Multimedia, Inc. will begin the Road to Amped Fest on September 27, 2008.
The event will determine the best players of Multiplayer Online Role Playing games Tantra and N-Age, the Military First Person shooter game WarRock and the casual 3D fighting game GetAmped.
The finalists will compete in the much awaited Amped Fest, the grand event organized yearly by Amped where P500,000 worth of prizes will be at stake. The venue and date of the said event are yet to be finalized.
The Road to Amped Fest will be held on the following dates and venues: September 27, 2008 at Internet World, Lower Ground of SM City Bacolod; October 4, 2008 at Global Access Talamban, Cebu; October 11, 2008 at Cyvilnet Café, Pabayo, Cagayan De Oro; October 18, 2008 at Boyz Trek Jacinto Branch, Davao; October 25, 2008 at IHooked, Katipunan, Quezon City and November 8, 2008 at Outer Haven Internet Café, Baguio City.
The tournaments are open to everyone. Participants can register at the tournament venues starting 10 a.m. or online by logging on to www.amped.ph
