MANILA, Philippines – Is One Direction going to be the next Penshoppe endorsers?
After last weekend's successful fan conference with Zac Efron, entertainment editor Ricky Lo said in his Philippine Star column published on Thursday that One Direction “has just been enlisted as the newest A-list endorser of a Filipino-made line of clothing.”
Lo said his source “is now in London to interview the boy band which is taking the music world by storm.”
In its official Twitter account, the local clothing brand Penshoppe also revealed on Wednesday that their team is “lovin' LONDON.”

But whether or not the British boy band signs up with Penshoppe, One Direction's Harry Styles said his group would love to visit the Philippines in the near future.
In a phone interview with Lo, Styles said: “Yeah, definitely! I think we might have to go there soon. We didn’t really expect our current tour to go as well as it did last year and I think that we’re going to as many places as we can — as soon as we can.”
Styles said they are looking forward to visiting to the country because they get a lot of support from their Filipino fans.
“There are a lot of people from the Philippines who are very supportive of One Direction. I hope to learn more about the Philippines if and when we go there,” he said.
“I’m in touch with fans from the Philippines on Twitter and Facebook, and they are always great, and I thank them for that,” he added.
