Miriam Quiambao is engaged for second time
MANILA – Years after her failed marriage to Italian Claudio Rondinelli, former beauty queen Miriam Quiambao is engaged once again.
On Instagram, Quiambao posted a photo collage including pictures of herself and her fiancé, her engagement ring and a bouquet of red and white roses.
It had the accompanying caption “1 John 4:18,” a scripture passage that reads: “There is no fear in love.”
Another Instagram post showed scenes from the wedding proposal held last Sunday.
One of the couple’s friends, former beauty queen and pageant blogger Joyce Burton-Titular, identified Quiambao’s fiancé as Ardy Roberto, an author and entrepreneur.
She described the couple as having a “whirlwind courtship.”
Quiambao rose to fame after her first runner-up finish in the Miss Universe pageant in 1999.
