Makati building a finalist for design award
MANILA, Philippines -- An office building in Makati City has been chosen to compete at the MIPIM Asia Awards, which aims to recognize the design efficiency of real estate projects in the region.
The 33-storey Zuellig building, located at the intersection of Makati Avenue and Paseo de Roxas, is one of the top three buildings in the "Best Office and Business Development" category of the MIPIM Asia Awards.
The other two properties include Hong Kong's 50 Connaught Road Central and China's Tianjin Global Financial Center.
Zuellig is also nominated for MIPIM Asia's first "Your Choice Award," which is based on online votes. The list of candidates for the award is dominated by real estate properties from China, Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong.
Voting can be done on the MIPIM website until November 5.
The MIPIM Asia Awards also includes the following categories: Best Hotel and Tourism Resort, Best Industrial and Logistics Development, Best Refurbished Building, Best Residential Development, Best Shopping Center, Best Futura Project, Best Futura Mega Project, Best German Project and Special Jury Award.
MIPIM, or Le marché international des professionnels de l’immobilier, was initiated in France 22 years ago with a special focus on real estate development in the Asia Pacific region.
