LOOK: Lights, colors, merriment at Masskara Festival
BACOLOD - Several attractions delighted locals and tourists during the Masskara Festival in Bacolod City. The thousands who gathered along the streets witnessed the street dancing, as well as the arena competition at the public plaza.
Part of the festivities were the colorful masks paraded at a mall for ABS-CBN's 17th Masskara Village.
Vibrant colors also lit up the government center and the Lacson Strip for the Electric Masskara, while numerous spectators enjoyed dancing along with Zumba enthusiasts for the Zumba party.
But aside from the fun-filled attractions, tourists also got a taste of the finest Negrense food and delicacies, including the napoleones and the famous Bacolod pia-ya.
The chicken inasal is also on top of the list for most tourists who are hungry for a taste of the Bacolod experience.
A new attraction at the baywalk also lured thousands of spectators, where the first Masskara by the sea was held.
The fun and excitement continues until Sunday, the 75th charter anniversary of the City of Smiles.
