PH gets first food truck market
The organizers of the Mercato Centrale night food market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig are coming out with a new foodie venture: Cucina Andare, the first food truck market and food bazaar in the Philippines.
Located at Glorietta Park at the Ayala Center, Makati City, Cucina Andare will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. starting December 14.
Cucina Andare brings together specialty and gourmet food trucks, popular Mercato Centrale vendors and new food, drink and pastry vendors from home-based food businesses from around Makati.
“The food truck is a staple in the American foodie scene,” said blogger Anton Diaz, co-organizer of Cucina Andare. “There are now popular gourmet food trucks in San Francisco, New York and Australia, and people follow them wherever they go. We believe it’s about time that food trucks make their debut in the Philippine foodie scene.”
“We are also excited to bring our food truck market to Glorietta as we celebrate their grand re-launch,” added host RJ Ledesma, the other co-organizer of Cucina Andare. “In fact, we will be launching the Food Truck Association of the Philippines during the opening of the market. We strongly encourage more food trucks and food vendors to join the market with their own unique dishes.”
On top of the food choices, Cucina Andare visitors can also enjoy live acoustic performances in a family-friendly environment.

Tipco launches veggie juices

Thailand’s leading juice brand has come up with an alternative way to include nutritious and healthy vegetables to the family meal.
Tipco 100% Veggie Juice combines fresh vegetables with fruits, making all the nutritional value of both items easier to take. It comes in a variety of combinations such as the 32 Veggie & Mixed Fruit Juice, Aloe Vera & White Grape Juice, Beetroot & Mixed Fruit Juice, Broccoli & Mixed Fruit Juice, Carrot & Mixed Fruit Juice and 100% Tomato Juice.
Beetroot is a good source of folate that supports the process of blood corpuscle creation, as well as anthocyanin, which helps slow down cell degeneration; while broccoli is rich in sulphuraphane that acts as effective antioxidant. Carrots are great sources of betanin and vitamin A for good eyesight, while tomatoes are a good source of lycopene that helps prevent certain kinds of cancer.
Tipco also guarantees that each juice variety is made from 100% real veggies and fruits, made without any preservatives, flavorings, colorings, or sweeteners. These ensure that the naturally occurring phytonutrients, compounds found in fruits, vegetables and other plants which have disease-preventative and disease-fighting properties is maintained in every pack.
