MANILA, Philippines -- Host-actress Kris Aquino praised former president Joseph Estrada for managing to still look young at 75.

Estrada and son Rep. JV Ejercito guested on Aquino's morning show "Kris TV" that aired on Wednesday.

"Would you believe na 75 na si President Erap, pero tignan mo naman mukhang 50 years old. What did you do?" Aquino told Estrada, as she complimented the former president for his hair.

"I think primarily also -- and no offense to PNoy -- ito kasi ang kapal ng buhok niyo. At least diniretso ko, no offense sinabi ko, kasi he has a lot of hair, hindi ba po?" Aquino added.

Aquino's brother, President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, already shows signs of male pattern baldness at 52 years old.

Estrada stressed that he's not using a toupee.

"Hindi wig 'yan, hindi wig," he said, adding that he inherited his thick hair from his mother, Maria Marcelo.

He also credited his relatively youthful looks to proper diet and regular sauna sessions.

"Once in a while 'yung mga calisthenics at nagsa-sauna ako palagi. Limited lang 'yung rice, konting-konti," said Estrada, who also underwent stem cell therapy, which he said has helped him get at least seven hours of sleep.

"Siguro after three weeks or almost a month bago relax na maganda na ang pakiramdam," he said.
