Big price cuts offered at COMDDAP Expo 2010

MANILA, Philippines - Gadget lovers have a reason to rejoice this week.

From today (Dec. 2) until Sunday, December 5, the Computer Manufacturers, Distributors and Dealers Association of the Philippines (COMDDAP) is holding the COMDDAP Expo Manila 2010 at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

A sale dubbed "I.T.'s a SALE!" is ongoing at the site, with big price cuts, special discounts and promotions offered on personal computers, laptops, printers, home entertainment systems, consumer and home electronics, digital cameras, mobile phones and other gadgets, techno gizmos and business solutions.

Spotted at the expo this year are the ultra-thin Hyundai 32-inch full HD (WXGA) LED TV with swivel stand being sold at an introductory price lower than P30,000, and the 42-inch full HD LCD TV at P29,990.

Kodak C1013 digital cameras are being sold at buy-one-take-one for P4,998.

The HP DeskJet F735 all-in-one printer, scanner, and copier is going for only P5,280.

“COMDDAP Expo Manila is really a comprehensive showcase and a year-end sale of a wide range of ICT products and services from the local ICT industry pioneers, players and affiliates or subsidiaries of global ICT giants. Consumers will not be able to resist the best IT gifts offered at good prices during the Expo,” COMDDAP director and event chairman Juan G. Chua said.

The COMMDDAP Expo is on its 27th year, and the event is touted as the country's biggest and longest-running information technology exhibit.

Last year, the event drew over 20,000 visitors.

COMMDDAP Expo hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
