'Sexy' DJ Chacha launches self-help book on love
MANILA - FM radio DJ Chacha promises a life filled with love for those who will buy her first book.
The self-help book, "Napakasakit Ate Chacha: Mga Usapang Malikot, Maharot at Makirot," is expected to be filled with her witty and humorous counseling tips on love.
"Pag binasa niyo tong libro na to, para lang talaga kayong nakikinig ng radyo. Sinabi ko nga, hindi ko ma-eentertain kada gabi lahat ng callers na tatawag sa programa at manghihingi ng advice regarding love, sex and relationships," she said in an interview with dzMM.
"Lahat ng bibili ng libro na walang love life, magkakaroon. Lahat ng mayroon love life na, forever and ever na yan," she added.
Currently, the "sexy" DJ, dubbed as the "Nag-iisang Diyosa sa Balat ng Radyo," hosts a prime time radio program on M.O.R. 101.9.
Referring to her book, she quipped, "Nag-topless ako dito sa loob."
DJ Chacha, who rose to fame with the "mwah mwah, tsup tsup" expression in her banter with DZMM's Ted Failon and Noli de Castro, said the book will have a little bit of advice for everyone.
"Hindi ko siya basta sinulat lang. Nag-research kami tungkol sa bakla, tomboy, babae, lalake," she said.
The DJ also shared that the friend who helped her write the book recently passed away.
"Butch, para sa iyo to," she said while holding the book.
She was referring to the Filipino writer, Butch Guerrero.
"[Na]Tapos na natin. Sabi ko nga, ikaw na bahala sa mga hindi bibili," she jokingly added.
"Napakasakit Ate Chacha: Mga Usapang Malikot, Maharot at Makirot," is available at participating National Bookstore branches for P175.
A book signing event will also be held at National Bookstore, Trinoma, 3 p.m., December 8.
