Gibo gives Christmas gift suggestions
MANILA, Philippines - Presidential candidate Gilberto "Gibo" Teodoro Jr. has some gift ideas for the holidays.
In his recent YouTube post titled "Christmas greeting from Gibo", Teodoro gave out Christmas gift suggestions that are "simple but meaningful."
"Ang galing talaga ng mga Pinoy. Sa gitna ng lahat ng komplikasyon sa buhay, kaya pa rin nating ngumiti. Kaya ngayong Pasko, huwag po nating kalimutan na ang tunay na halaga ng panahon ay nakikita sa mga simpleng bagay," he said.
(The Filipinos are great. Even amidst complications in their lives, they are still able to smile. So this Christmas, let's not forget the real meaning of the occasion can be found in simple things.)
The former defense chief, clad in his trademark green polo shirt (his campaign color), went on to suggest that Filipinos should gift their enemies or detractors with forgiveness and understanding.
"Kaya tayo po ay may Christmas gift suggestions na puwede po nating ipangregalo. Sa inyong kalaban, pagpapatawad. Sa inyong katunggali, pang-unawa," he said in the video.
"Sa inyong kaibigan, inyong puso. Sa lahat, pagkakawanggawa. Sa iyong customer, serbisyo. Sa lahat ng mga bata, isang magandang halimbawa. Sa inyong sarili, respeto," Teodoro said.

The 52-second video was posted on YouTube on Wednesday, December 23. As of posting, it has been viewed 3 times.
The video is the latest in a set of media advertisements showing political candidates--usually with their families--giving Christmas greetings.
Another recent ad shows vice presidential candidate Sen. Manuel "Mar" Roxas II with his wife Korina and son Paolo, clad in shirts that represent the colors of the Philippine flag, wishing the public a happy holiday. Report from abs-cbnNEWS.com/Newsbreak.

Christmas is a time when you can share all your happiness and joy with friends and family. It also is the holiday season and a time when you exchange gifts. Stuff like shoes, gift coupons and others are common. Would you not like to pick up souvenirs that will be cherished for many years to come.

kasama sa mga public servants ang mga teachers, kaya hindi dapat maging basehan ang christmas bonus na yan upang mag serve sa elections. eh kung ganyan attitude ng teachers eh anong matinong values pa kaya ang maituturo nila sa mga kabataan, kung sila mismo eh mukhang pera na hindi kikilos kung alang suhol???!?? thats blackmailing! no wonder what kind of youth we have today.

Hindi ko alam kung may taong nasa matinong kaisipan na kokontra pa at babatikos sa pagpapahayag ng kabutihan, katahimikan, pagmamahalan at pagkakaisa lalung-lalo na sa panahon ng Pasko.
